Bus Rides and Meal Times

Hey new strip. Whodathunk. Still getting the characters in motion. Next week, we'll return to the main cast. Just couldn't help myself with the Bellotharr strips, I kinda like the big lug. Click on the "Latest Strip" link to the left.

One of the nicest memories I have is taking the bus from Phoenix to Tucson Arizona to visit my then-girlfriend, Helen. Eventually I got a car, but then the trips were somewhat...lacking. There's just something about being able to kick back and watch the scenery whip by. There's nothing quite so mezmerizing as a desert sunset. And nothing quite so annoying as a motor-mouth sitting next to you with an annoying lap-dog.

As far as the strip goes, the first panel is a digital painting, just painted over the pencil drawing. The rest of the strip is done, as usual. My "coloring" muscles kinda kinked up, so the last few panels are just flat colors, but I thought it's best to just post the darn thing rather than just fiddle around with it.

Next week, there should be a new strip. It may take a while before I can get back to the Monday scheldule, bear with me, 'kay?
